How the Beauty Score works

The Beauty Score is a 0–10 measure combining trust-weighted votes with saves, likes, and shares. It is not a review score, editorial award, or raw count of any one activity.

Precision has to be earned

New places and places with limited evidence show “New” instead of a precise number. Scores and rankings update as the underlying activity counts change.

Ranking integrity

Voting requires an account, each account can hold one active vote per place, and rate limits reduce simple vote floods. Eligible votes may also be trust-weighted. Commercial relationships do not buy a better score or rank.
